Can gifted items be returned?

Gifted items can only be exchanged or returned for store credit  – there isn’t a separate “gift” option in our return process. Because returns are connected to the original order, refunds can only be issued to the original purchaser’s payment method. If you’re returning a gift, we suggest you choose either an exchange or store credit.

Note: Selecting Refund will notify the original purchaser and issue the refund to their original payment method. If you’d prefer to keep the gift return discreet, please choose Exchange or Store Credit instead.

How to process a return of a gifted item, for exchange or store credit

Both an exchange and store credit require the original order to be returned to us. Once the item begins tracking back to us, the exchange order or store credit will be processed. 

We'll be discreet. No notifications to the original gifter. You can even opt to have the exchange order or store credit be sent to a new shipping or email address.

There are two easy ways to get your return started:

Option 1: Process it yourself (fastest)

You can process the exchange or store credit on your own if you have:

• The order number or tracking number, and
• The gifter's email address or shipping zip code

With that info, you'll be able to complete the return directly through our return portal.

Option 2: Reach out to our team

If you don't have the details above, no worries – our Customer Service team can help.

Just email us at [email protected], and we'll take it from there. To help us process the return as quickly as possible, please include:

• Gifter's first and last name
• Gifter's email address (if available)
• Gifter's address, city, or zip code (if available)
• The item(s) you received and want to exchange or return for store credit
• If exchanging, the item(s) you'd like instead, including:
  • Size
  • Color
  • Liner preference (if applicable)

Once we have that info, we'll get your return processed and moving without notifying the gifter.
